While the adventure of moving 8,800 miles away was thrilling, the transition hit her like a tidal wave. Through the lens of Western fairytale characters, this fantastical exhibition explores her journey from surviving to thriving in Chandler, Arizona.

In Abstracting Identity, Godoy creates his own visual language to communicate the complexities of being human and finding a space where we belong.

Chandler Contigo: Charcoal Drawing with Miguel Angel Godoy
Chandler Museum 300 S. Chandler Village Drive, Chandler, AZExperiment with powdered charcoal and alcohol ink! Miguel Angel Godoy will be leading a drawing class at the Chandler Museum for kids age 6 - 16 in conjunction with his exhibition Abstracting Identity at the Chandler Center for the Arts.
